Le Meridien Tahiti is built on a tiny flat motu on the eastern side of Bora Bora Lagoon and has been well landscaped providing a natural inner lagoon filled with tropical fish which also acts as a turtle sanctuary. The main dining restaurant sits over the lagoon providing an unbeatable experience. Snorkelling within the inner lagoon offers the chance of close encounters with sea turtles and fish and the privately owned Lagoonarium where you can swim with sting rays is on the adjacent motu.

Most beach bungalows are located in coconut groves on the inner lagoon side whilst the eighty plus overwater bungalows extend far out into the main lagoon.
Until recently, this was the only resort on the east side of Bora. However, two new large properties have been built either side of Le Meridien eating in to its once famous private setting.
